Dr. Matthys was born and raised in Ukraine, where she earned her dental degree from Crimean State Medical University in 2014. After moving to the United States, she continued her dental education and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. Before becoming a licensed dentist in the United States, she worked as a dental assistant, gaining valuable experience in patient care, clinical procedures, and communication.
Dr. Matthys is passionate about providing gentle, comprehensive dental care and creating a positive experience for every patient. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is committed to continuing education and professional growth. She has completed advanced training through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics in Botulinum Toxin and Frontline™ TMJ and Facial Pain Therapy and is certified in the Chao Pinhole® Surgical Technique, allowing her to offer advanced treatment options for facial esthetics, TMJ disorders, and minimally invasive treatment of gum recession.
Outside the office, Dr. Matthys enjoys spending quality time with her son and family, baking, hiking, and traveling together. A licensed skydiver, she loves embracing new adventures and believes that creating meaningful memories with loved ones is one of life’s greatest joys.
